Adam and Emily's Wedding - July 2, 2011

We were able to spend the weekend in Delmont Pennsylvania to help celebrate cousin Adam and Emily's wedding. This was Miss Madilynn's first trip out of state, and first time staying in a hotel. Even though we didn't get to the hotel until late Friday night Madilynn was still awake and enjoying our mini-vacation.

I didn't get photos during the ceremony - we were sort of near the back. Madilynn did very well during the ceremony and enjoyed all of the songs.
Afterwards we were able to get a few photos of our immediate family.

This is a photo of  Madilynn before we even pulled out of the church parking lot!

The reception was right near our hotel and was very beautiful, and a ton of fun!

The Snider "Tripod"

I wasn't able to get photos of everyone, but I did manage to get quite a few...

I took the stroller into the reception, and she did really well - sleeping while mommy ate, and taking another nap again later. The loud music didn't seem to bother her naps...

She really enjoyed visiting with family, and dancing to the music....

4 months old tomorrow!!!

Miss Madilynn will be 4 months old tomorrow!
Mommy will be working, so we got the photos taken today....

Just recently she is starting to do more and more
with her tongue....sticking it out, "chewing" on it, etc...

She's not really a big fan of being on her tummy,
but she is starting to use her arms to help hold her head up more and more.
She is working hard at rolling over. She has rolled over twice this month by herself...mommy simply found her on her tummy....hasn't seen her do it on her own yet though.
She still enjoys playing on her playmat, and in her jumper. She is a very busy body, and wants to "stand" with you supporting her...her legs are constantly on the go.
If you work at it you can get a smile out of her, but she is generally still a very serious baby (which Father Hummer even commented about during her Baptism).
She typically gets up at least once in the night around 12-1 for a feeding....then again around 4 or 5. She still goes back to sleep pretty easily, which mommy appreciates!
Madilynn is also really beginning to enjoy hearing herself...over the past couple weeks she has become much more vocal. Not that she says words yet, but by all the sounds she makes it is obvious she has a lot to say! Sometimes she gets very animated when she is "talking" to you...and can become quite loud....it is really cute! Not much of a "baby" anymore....

Tugger was not being very cooperative today...
perhaps because Madilynn now tries to "pet" him...
she is always very intrigued by him, and loves to watch him throughout the day.

Madilynn's Baptism

Sunday June 12, 2011 Madilynn was Baptised at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Baptism took place immediately following the 11am mass.
Madilynn wore a gown my Grandma Moore made...and she looked beautiful in it.

Brian and Katie were selected as her godparents.

Madilynn did very well during the service,
and afterwards we had everyone back to our house for a party
(made by Grandma Rosie with love)

Needless to say, Madilynn was worn out by the end of the day!

3 Months Old!!!

Miss Madilynn turned 3 months old on Tuesday...here are a few photos...
it was hard to narrow it down!

Madilynn thinks she is so big, and likes to try to stand - so we went ahead and got out her jumper....notice the pillow - she's still too little to reach the ground - but she does seem to enjoy it!

She is really starting to enjoy her books!

Mother's day - Flowers from Matt, and a February birthstone glass bear (just like mine) from Madilynn...it was a great day!

Madilynn's first day of daycare - both mommy and daddy were off so we both took her to get used to everything. Everyone there is super nice, and she seems to enjoy it.

Madilynn's first trip to the Amish Country

The Monday after Easter many of us were still off of work, so we decided to take a trip to the Amish country. It was a last minute decision, luckily I had packed enough clothes for Miss Madilynn...we were able to stay at Grandma Teri's one more night.
We had a great day, filled with good doughnuts, breads, and jellies.
Because this was Madilynn's first trip we decided to stop and get some photos.
She did great riding in the car all day. We had a fun trip!

Funny one of the few pictures was have of the three of us, and it is in Amish Country!
