More Baby Showers

Baby S. Certainly has been showered with love, and he/she isn't even here yet!
Here are a few photos I thought I would share....
The first few photos are from the Snider/Clouse Shower that was held at Aunt Lisa's house on January 9th (I was 34 weeks at the time of this shower).

Baby S. will be Grandma Rosie's 4th great-grandchild (the first 3 are girls),
and he/she will be Grandma Sharon's first great-grandchild!

Baby S...is so lucky to have Grandma Teri - he/she is already loved very much!

The cake was made with love by Grandma Rosie.

This next shower was held the very next Sunday at Holly's house. Many of the ladies from work were able to attend - we had a great time, it was great seeing everyone outside of work!

These are two of the wonderful pharmacists I work with - Holly on the left lives just 4 houses up the street; Lindsay on the right, also graduated from Ohio Northern - though she graduated quite a few years after me. They are alot of why I like my job so much!

Here I am at 35 weeks.

Baby Snider's Nursery

Here are some photos of the nursery. Matt did a wonderful job painting the nursery - including the trim and doors which used to be a dark brown.
The white cabinet you see is actually the dresser that was left in our home from the previous owners....it was down in our bedroom, and was dark wood with a "lovely" oriental design on front....needless to say we painted it and feel it works well, providing lots of storage for our little one.
Notice the changing table - this has had many a diapers changed on it, including: my cousins Ann and Shalina; my sister and I; and my cousins' kids - Matt, James, Kevin and Anna. So great to have something that has been in the family!

The crib was handed down to us from Matt's Aunt Jackie - Ericka had slept in it when she was a baby. We are very thankful to have this crib to use for Baby S.....here's to hoping for many peaceful, sleep-filled nights! I was able to make the valance and bedskirt, and the lamp used to be a gold lamp with a plain white lampshade that I stole from Dad's house....I think it looks much cuter now!

This beautiful blanket was given to us by Matt's Grandma Sharon - she made it from fabric she had actually purchased at a quilt shop in Charleston years ago when she visited us when we lived there! She knew we would be starting a family someday! It is super cute and looks great with the green walls!

Christmas 2010

Just wanted to share a few of the photos from Christmas this year.
Because we were unable to make it to Cleveland this year we were able to do a "mini" Christmas prior to Dad and Grandma traveling north.

We were able to make it over to New Lexington on Christmas eve after I got off work so we could be there in the morning. Poor Jason didn't really realize just what he was missing - not having his brothers and sister there to wake him up at 5:30 to see what Santa brought!

December 25, 2010

We had a very busy weekend - traveling to Zanesville to visit with the Sniders, and traveling to Somerset to visit with the Clouses/Snells/Saxtons. We had a great Christmas Holiday, and are very much looking forward to what next year brings considering Baby S. should be quite active by then!!!
