Music Time

We have been going to Music Time at the library on Tuesdays for several sessions now...I finally decided to take my camera to get some pictures of the girls. They love music time, it is full of fun songs, shaky eggs, bells, and scarves!

 

Madilynn of course has to find a purple scarf...

 

Today was the last session, and because Halloween is just around the corner the kids were encouraged to wear their costumes...didn't take much encouragement for these two...they were so excited to get to wear their costumes today- and are looking forward to Trick-or-Treat so they can dress up again!

Next session isn't until 2014....glad I got some pictures now to capture how little they are...they are growing way too fast!!! We will miss Music Time...can't wait till it starts again in January!

Renick's Pumpkin Patch 2013

Earlier this month we were able to make it up to Renick's Pumpkin Patch. We went on a Tuesday, which was perfect because we practically had the patch to ourselves! 

We were able to get a few great pictures of the girls....

            

Meredith watched Madilynn get her picture taken, and when I put her down she ran right over turned around and just squealed with delight! She was so excited!!!

It was tough to get the girls to look at me and smile - I think they were too busy looking at all the pumpkins!

I just love how they try to pick them up...Meredith tried to pick up a couple, and otherwise spent most of her time patting them. 

(I had to throw in one of my favorites from last year of Madilynn trying to pick up a big one!)

                                                        

Madilynn enjoyed going through the mini maze...she did it by herself several times...she would come out just grinning as big as could be, and then run around and do it again!

Meredith checked it out...but never crawled through it...

Oh, the slide! We didn't get many photos of them out in the patch because Madilynn was too excited to go back to the front and go down the slide...which she did over and over again!

After we finished at the pumpkin patch we stopped at Bob Evans for dinner...it was Kids Night - which meant not only were the girls' meals free...but they had free pumpkins for the kids to decorate...so Madilynn decorated one. She really enjoyed it! Good thing, because we have yet to do this at home! Halloween is just a few days away...and we have yet to carve the pumpkin we got at the pumpkin patch...we'll see...if we do carve it I'll post some photos...if not...then maybe we'll do one next year!!!

(I'm betting you'll have to wait till next year!)

September Fun...

Here are some random pictures from this past month....mostly just ones that make me smile! Here Meredith is carrying around this old bear of Tugger's....She does try to get him to play with it...sometimes....but usually she carries it around everywhere...

And these stacking rings....she loves wearing them like bracelets!!   My little Daredevil!     Climbed up into Madilynn's bed all by herself!  She also climbed up into the swing all by herself...Then Madilynn started swinging her...then she fell out, climbed in again, fell out again...so I had to put it away...quite a sight I'm sure, me carrying the swing down the hall, both girls following me crying and screaming because I was taking it away!!!   Thought it was cute that she turned around in her chair so she could watch the morning cartoons too! Here is Madilynn being silly - popping up out of the Princess tent...Chocolate Milk in hand of course! Last weekend Mamma and Pappa came over to play and brought this fun slide... The girls loved it!   Madilynn is quite the worker, and between bubbles and sliding she would help Daddy and Pappa with the planting....    Then we found a caterpillar...had to make it a home... Now we have 3...they are loving eating the mum flowers....I guess they are ok for them to eat...considering they are all 3 still alive!     Here are a couple videos of Madilynn. The first is of her doing a somersault all on her own...we've practiced several weeks ago, but this past Saturday she got down her mat and just started doing them on her own!!!
