Columbus Zoo - July 2014

Earlier in July we were able to get in a trip to the Columbus Zoo - we had quite the crew! Nick, Emily and Pappa surprised us!

 

We really enjoyed the new African area...it was great seeing the giraffe and other animals, we especially enjoyed the "cheetah run".

 

The polar bear exhibit was really neat - the bears were really active - which was great!

The girls could have sat and watched the fish for hours...

 

We had a great time - so glad July was fairly "cool" as summer days go - which allowed us this wonderful trip! It was also great having 6 adults vs. 2 kids....so much easier to keep up with the girls this way!

Can't wait to get back this winter to see the light spectacular!
